Current Projects
Christian Dior NYC Flagship designed by Peter Marino Architect. The scope of this project is extensive, encompassing the development of the core and shell, selective demolition, and new construction of the store’s interior and facade. This includes connecting two existing retail spaces to create a new “Maison” for the esteemed fashion brand Christian Dior. The new space will feature a stunning staircase, wood floors, millwork, casework, and displays. The project will span seven floors, with the intention of utilizing the space for both retail and back-of-house operations. The fit-out of Dior’s new retail space will be high-end, featuring a spa floor, a dedicated VIP floor, two floors of luxury retail space, and three back-of-house floors. The construction work will include an extensive millwork package, as well as a complete overhaul of the facade.
Previous Projects
335 Madison designed by SHoP Architects. The multi-phased renovation consists of converting an existing 210,000 SF office tower to a central hub for New York City’s tech ecosystem to offer new office and amenity spaces on floors five though seven. In addition, the project includes lobby upgrades, new building entries, stair changes, a bar, health club, retail spaces, an atrium upgrade and infrastructural upgrades. The project will provide temporary facilities for displaced building occupants; and upgrade elevators and cooling towers.
The Shed designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro. NYC’s first movable building The Shed is at the heart of Hudson Yards on Manhattan’s West Side and is an architecture of infrastructure with a new approach to sustainable structures. The building has no fat, only muscle. The Shed’s movable shell is made of an exposed steel diagrid frame, clad in translucent cushions of a strong and lightweight Teflon-based polymer (ETFE). This material has the thermal properties of insulating glass at a fraction of the weight. It only takes five minutes to deploy, at the click of a button. The shell weighs 8 million pounds and sits on eight wheels; the total surface contact for each wheel carrying 1 million pounds is the size of the palm of your hand. It uses the horsepower of one Prius engine. The movement is absolutely silent. Deployed, the shell creates a 17,000 SF, light-, sound- and temperature-controlled space, named The McCourt, that can serve a variety of uses. The space accommodates an audience of 1,250 seated/2,700 standing; flexible overlap space in the two adjoining galleries of the base building allows for an expanded audience of up to 3,000. The shell’s ceiling operates as an occupiable theatrical deck with rigging and structural capacity throughout. Large operable doors on its north and east sides allow The McCourt to function as an open-air pavilion.
Giorgio Armani Corporation Headquarters New York designed by Design Republic. The fit-out consists of 52,000 SF of office space including three usable terraces.
T-Squared Social designed by Perkins Eastman. The fit-out consists of 11,000 SF of entertainment space including a full kitchen below. The scope of work takes place on the ground and cellar floor of the 28-story skyscraper building. Demolition of existing finishes and systems make way for new infrastructure including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm, and AV systems. A new slab opening accommodates new stairs that bridge the renovated kitchen on the cellar level with the main space on the ground level. A new structural deck supports new mechanical units. The interior design includes a fully acoustic envelope, high ceilings with exposed ductwork, sprinklers and hanging light fixtures, tile finishes throughout, decorative tin & metal mesh ceilings, decorative beams, custom wallcoverings, and custom metal mesh railings. The storefronts and exterior signage also get a refresh. The space will provide a dynamic space for merging pub cuisine and craft cocktails with sporting and entertainment elements including music, table tennis, darts, duckpin bowling, and simulators for golf, baseball and more. With an amply stocked bar, dining areas, VIP lounge, and plenty of screens to choose from, the space will provide the premier social destination for dining and entertainment.
22 Vanderbilt Pre-Fit Floor designed by Fogarty Finger. The fit-out consists of 45,000 SF of office space featuring new flooring, millwork, lighting, and tile finishes.
